Translation is my core business. I mainly offer translations from German, English and Italian to French,* my mother tongue. As my key target market is the French-speaking part of Switzerland, I adhere to local conventions but also take into account your linguistic and typographical preferences.

Machine translation is becoming increasingly common in many businesses. But be careful, it is far from perfect! Machine translation can contain differences from the original text, even though it looks correct. You can send me pre-translated documents, and I will post-edit them and carry out a thorough comparison between the source and target texts.

Transcreation (a portmanteau word combining translation and creation) adapts the message you want to convey based on your target market. I will come up with a phrase that draws attention and produces the desired effect.
